The 2023 Central Homecoming Week gets off to a busy start with two home events on Monday night! Whether you are planning to watch our guys on the field or our ladies on the court, make plans to come out and cheer on our Warriors!
Third graders enjoyed their time at Plagman Barn today. They made butter in a jar, stirred apple butter, made ropes, watched a sheep get sheared, and even went to a one room schoolhouse. It was a fun day!

As you know the FAFSA process has been changed this year. We have included two websites that will be helpful to you in making your FSA ID number prior to the opening of the FAFSA in December.
One site is a worksheet to help you fill out your FSA ID number: https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.ncan.org/resource/resmgr/better_fafsa/training_toolkit/uaspire_fsa_id_how_to_guide_.pdf.
The second site allows you to join a live webinar to help you and your parent to set up their FSA ID number: https://www.icansucceed.org/ontrack. Once on this webpage scroll down to Senior FSA ID workshop. You do not need to register for the webinar. Just join on the day and time that works best for you.

We are officially one week away from the Homecoming 2023 Parade! The parade will begin at the Elkader Town Team fields at 5:30 PM and end at the Athletic Complex!
High Street will be closed to traffic at 5:20 PM. We ask that you arrive prior to 5:20 and park at the Jack Dittmer Athletic Complex or the Swimming Pool parking lot. If you arrive after 5:20 PM you will have to park elsewhere and walk in to see the parade.
Please note the parade will go by the Athletic Complex twice. We recommend waiting for the parade to come back from Deer Run so you can see both sides of the floats. Once the parade has entered the Athletic Complex you can walk in to enjoy the festivities!
