BIG ANNOUNCEMENT
On January 11, 2020 Central will host a wrestling tournament featuring a boys division and a girls division. This is the second year we have had the girls division. A few stats…
- In 2019 we had 15 young women compete in the girls division at our meet.
- The 2019 Girls State Wrestling Meet featured 87 young women.
- For Central’s upcoming meet in 2020 we currently have commitments from 15 teams (8 1A, 6 2A, 1 3A) approaching a total of 80 female wrestlers!
Our goal? 100+ girls wrestling in our girls division in Elkader on January 11, 2020. Please share this message with anyone that may be interested in coming. This is a great opportunity for any high school girl looking for an excellent field of competition!

Holiday Train Information


Congratulations to the Central Winter Madrigal singers for an outstanding performance at Osborne on Dec. 5th! They sang a beautiful program of winter themed music while attendees enjoyed hot chocolate, cider, and sweets. It was a magical night to remember!


Central Fine Arts Booster Club will be meeting Monday, December 9 at 6:30pm in the band/choir room. This meeting will be used to help organize Carnival. Parents with students in grades 7-12 are encouraged to attend to provide new ideas and support for our students.

If you are headed to the game tonight they will be having a soup supper.


4th graders had some fun today spreading some kindness by playing a game with the 5th graders!
