Having 90+ employees under your watch has many challenges, now throw in 400 students and you have yourself quite a task! We are thankful for two administrators who help guide us all and keep the peace in our building, day in and day out! Happy Boss's Day to our very own, Mr. Trenkamp and Mr. Reinhart!

While it may take a village to raise a child, it takes a very dedicated team of trained professionals to transport them between home and school safely everyday!
Meet some of our very own! And if you feel inclined to say thank you with a treat, please note their favorites are listed!

Tomorrow starts a week of awareness and recognition, celebrating National School Bus Safety Week. Central Community School District greatly appreciates the drivers that get behind the wheel every day, making each and every one of our students and their safety a top priority. This is also a time to recognize the role the entire community plays in getting our students to and from their homes, daycares and extra-curricular activities on any given school day. Central is lucky to have so many caring employees impacting such “precious cargo” – A transportation director, a transportation secretary, six full-time bus drivers and many part-time drivers that help with activity routes. In addition, we have administration, local law enforcement, county employees and numerous others that help keep the safety of all our students the very best it can be! If you see someone that is involved in getting our kids where they need to be, please be sure to reach and let them know how much it means!

2nd graders in Mrs. Steffen's class were working on perimeter by measuring garden beds in math!

Central Elementary held their first CCS Assembly of the year this afternoon. These events are held once a month and meant to help celebrate and recognize student achievements involving positivity, centered around Caring, Commitment and Safety. Students are given tickets by teachers and administration in recognition of their positive behavior. From those tickets, a select number of students are drawn to attend a field trip someplace local to celebrate their achievements. This month's recipients will go to Motor Mill next Wednesday.
Please look for more information as we near next month's CCS Assembly!
