The NICC High School Partnership Coordinator, Caitlin Stalken, will be at Central School on Thursday, August 24th from 8:00 am until noon to be available to help students get logged into their accounts/accessing Brightspace. If you need the help with your online NICC classes, please plan on meeting with her that morning in the media center.

If you are interested or know someone that may be, please reach out to Kara Armstrong. Being part of the chain gang is one of the best ways to get involved with your student's games. You get an up-close view of the action, while being part of a rewarding experience since you are actually involved with the game. Even if you only do it once or twice a year, we appreciate all the volunteer time you can give!
Warrior Volleyball Families and Fans - There will be a Warrior Scrimmage tomorrow night vs. East Bucchanan at home. Freshman/JV will start at 5:30, with Varsity to follow. There is a mandatory Parent Meeting for all high school volleyball families following the scrimmage.

Central Bus Update: Central will no longer have a bus stop at the Courthouse in the morning or afternoon. Please make alternative plans.

As we near the start of another school year, please be mindful of the designated parking in front of the school doors. The short term parking (pictured here) is meant for loading and unloading and passenger drop off and pick up only. If you are waiting for your student following school and/or practice or for any other reason, please park directly across the street to keep the access open as needed.
Adult Activity Passes and Senior Citizen Passes that have been previously ordered are now available for pick-up from Central's Business Office. For any adults still wanting to purchase one for the 2023-2024 regular season sports schedule, please call the district office to get your pass ready in time for the start of the fall season. Please note: Senior Citizen Activity Passes are valid from year to year, with no expiration date. If you are newly 65 years old and would like one, please give us a call. If you have previously requested one in years past, your activity pass is still effective. Any questions, please call us at 563-245-1751.
Elkader and surrounding communities - If you are interested and have not already signed your family up, you have one week left until registration closes for the Elkader Youth Soccer League.

If you have not already registered your students for school, NOW is the time! Online Registration will CLOSE on Tuesday, August 15th. If you have not registered by that time, you will need to come into the school to complete the 2023-2024 registration for your students.
If you need to apply for free or reduced school benefits, please call 245-1750, as soon as possible, so that we can better help you with this process.
