The past few years we have put a heavy emphasis on building stronger relationships at Central. Our next step in doing so is to tell you a little about ourselves! Each week you will see posts highlighting a team member. Feel free to comment to tell us what we have in common! Meet Ms. Schmeling!

Today some students from Mrs. Kremer's class shared treats they made in Makerspace with Mrs. Zittergruen's kindergarten class. Baking helps students understand measurement, science, safety and following directions while they show creativity. . Sharing what they bake shows the importance of doing kind things for others. Special thanks to senior, Karleigh Thorson for assisting the students and taking the photos. Great work! #CentralMakerspace

Mrs. Zittergruen's class completed Junior Achievement courses taught by Danielle Shea of Northwestern Mutual. The kindergartners enjoyed learning about choices, needs and wants, and how to be responsible with the money we earn.

Due to the potential for ice north of us, the basketball game vs. Kee tonight is postponed to a date TBD. At this time the HS boys wrestling meet @ South Winn and JH girls basketball game at Clayton Ridge are both still on as scheduled.

While we are very grateful for the awesome support our can project receives and the amazing opportunities the fundraising provides for students, we need your help! We are unable to recycle the glass bottles at this time due to safety, space and transportation issues. We ask that you please not bring glass to our collection bin until further notice. Leaving bottles and cans outside the bin creates mess that the school and community would like to avoid. Please help us continue this great project in a safe and organized manner for students. Thank you!

Thank you again to Brown’s Family of Car Dealership for supporting our student-of-the-month program. These programs allow us to recognize one Student-Athlete and one Fine Arts student for individual character and habits that lead to success. Thank you to Beth Rentschler, Director of High School Partnerships for attending today's assembly. The November Fine Arts Student of the Month has been nominated for their desire to always do their best and never settle for less. Teachers have commented on how this student is always looking for ways to help other students improve as well, knowing the success of the group depends on each individual doing their best. This student is also known for having a positive attitude and others look forward to being around this each day. Finally, while working toward high achievements this student also maintains a great sense of humor! The November Fine Arts Student of the Month is Ella Buckman.
