February's "worthy" assembly theme was about loving yourself and achieving high self-esteem for a rich, healthy, and happy life. Healthy self-esteem is correlated with physical activity, which means, exercise improves our physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health. Sadie Hefel, is the owner & manager of Divine Current Wellness in Guttenberg. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Massage Therapy Instructor, Certified Yoga Instructor, and a Self-Care Life Coach. She has been in the Health & Wellness field for over 15 years and graciously donated her time and talents to provide an invigorating morning wellness routine to get our day started off right! 7th grade was our "Price is Right" game show prize winners for some extra fun and activities at school. Our 3 worthy warrior winners were 7/8 - Kaylee Nelson 9/10 - Keshaun Foster 11/12 - Brandi Herman

Some Central students were treated to a special visit by author, Erin Soderberg Downing this afternoon. She talked about her writing process and how she connects her stories to personal experiences in her life. She is especially excited about her new book "Just Keep Walking". Special thanks to Oneota Valley Literary Foundation for providing a free book written by Erin Soderberg Downing to every 3rd-6th grade student at Central.
