MaryAnn Gibney (Central Class of 2010), a recruiter at LinkedIn, recently visited Mr. Kluesner's class to share valuable career navigation and resume tips.
She encouraged students to take the time to reflect on their strengths and interests, explore what careers align with those qualities, and be proactive in learning more—by reaching out for informational conversations or job shadowing opportunities. MaryAnn highlighted how LinkedIn can be a powerful tool, especially for connecting with Central alumni, even those who no longer live nearby.
Her advice for interviews? Be concise, come prepared, and remember: people want to help!

A chilly night of golf, but Central came away with 3 medalists. Central boys beat Postville 163-201. Griffen Hammersland was the runner up with a 37 and Owen Hammersland was the medalist with a 36.
Central girls came up a little short, but Katie Royer was the runner up with a 59 tonight.
Nice job, Warriors!

May Day-Lei Day!! Today is Lei Day, a statewide holiday, in Hawaii. Students learned about the Lei customs and traditions, then made their own personalized Lei. Lei's symbolize farewell, greeting, love, hope, friendship and joy. The idea is that although a fresh flowered lei lasts only a while, the thought lasts forever.

Our principals were spoiled today for Principals' Day! ❤️🤍 Preschool made them both gifts, Mrs. Pope's door is filled with elementary gifts and the Central Warriors PTO bought them both lunch.
Thanks to everyone who made their day special!

🦆 FREE Duck Nesting Boxes – Made by Students! 🦆
In celebration of Earth Day, local students rolled up their sleeves and built duck nesting boxes as part of a hands-on conservation project — and now they’re giving them away for free to help support local wildlife! The Duck Box Habitat Project was funded by Tri-State Chapter of Waterfowl.
✨ Nesting boxes may also attract other cavity-nesting birds.
📍Stop by Central High School Office to pick one up while supplies last!
Let’s keep the Earth Day spirit going — one duck box at a time. 🌍💚
