Seniors and your parents the time to begin filling out your FAFSA will be this coming Saturday, October 1. Do you need help with filling out the FAFSA? Elizabeth Blake from Clayton County Farm Bureau visited the 4th graders today. They learned about agricultural products grown and raised in Iowa. Ask a 4th grader what is used to make crayons, chocolate bars, and vegetable oil!

5th grade went to the Fort Atkinson Rendezvous today!





The K/1 Parade at noon has been moved to the Big Gym. We are asking the public to sit on the Visitor side as our students will be on the Home side with their classes.

When the preschool kids are away, the 2/3 kids will play. The Central second and third graders had a blast going to the preschool building today for recess.

The line up for the parade will start at the Elkader City T-Ball Fields at 5:00 p.m. Please find a spot along the side of the route to enjoy the parade! If you are wanting to have a float in the parade, please line up behind our high school athletic floats!
The pep rally following the parade will be live streamed on our Facebook page if you are unable to attend!


The Oelwein Lion's Club came today to complete vision screens through the Iowa KidSight Program. This is a free program that captures an image of the children's eyes and identifies any concerns. Early detection means early correction. The preschoolers loved seeing their eyes on camera!
