BIG congratulations to Lexi on winning Artsonia's artist of the week competition!!! And a HUGE thank you to all who helped her achieve this with your votes!! She had 1,070 votes and won by almost 500!!!

Congratulations to Central band students Raelynn (8th grade), Lukas (6th grade), and Edward (6th grade) for being selected to play in the Marion Honor Band on January 14th. They had a full day of rehearsals and socializing with musicians from many other schools. The day ended with great performances from the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade honor bands!

Large group speech students performed at the South Winn conference today and did truly amazing! We received great feedback and will keep practicing for districts next Saturday! These three students represented Central at the Dorian Vocal Festival at Luther College on Sunday and Monday. It was an amazing weekend filled with incredible music. Congrats, Sam, Brandy, and Olivia!
