Due to the football schedules being changed last week, Homecoming will be on Friday, September 25 this year. It was previously announced to be on September 11 but that will be an away game now. The parade will be on Wednesday night (September 23) instead of the Thursday night tradition. This change is due to a home volleyball match on Thursday.

Peppers
The school garden is starting to produce yummy results. Peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes will be plentiful. There is also broccoli, carrots, herbs, peas, beans and lettuce. The excess produce will be shared with the community in a first come first serve basis. Check back soon for when there are vegetables ready for pick up at the garden. Feel free to harvest any ready produce your family will use. We want to make sure the produce does not go to waste until we return to school. Comment if you have questions or contact agritzner@central.k12.ia.us.

Central had two girls attend a 3-day wrestling camp at Grandview College in Des Moines, IA. It was a very fun experience and they both learned a lot! They had the opportunity to learn from some of the best female wrestlers in the country and met some other girls from multiple states throughout the country who live wrestling just as much as they do! #CentralStrong
