Art students are ready to rock and roll for day two at Art in the Park! They'll be set up from 10-3 today. The emerging artist tent is located right by the playground at Founder's Park. Huge thank you for the continued support and community partnerships to promote the arts!!

Congratulations to Dani Whittle on being officially approved as a 2024 American FFA Degree Recipient for Central Community FFA! There are 126 recipients from Iowa this year! This degree is the final milestone within the National FFA Organization in which less than 1% of all FFA members achieve. Dani had strong SAE projects over her years in FFA, served as a chapter leader, and dedicated her high school career to service within the Central Community FFA. She is the THIRD recipient of the chapter and follows Duane Klink who was a recipient in 1960 and Gary Berns who was a recipient in 1969! It's been 55 years since the chapter has had a member receive this high honor!
To the very generous donor that sent 26 brand new backpacks to the school today..... WOW.... and THANK YOU!!! What a wonderful gift for the Caring Closet!!! Mrs. Keppler may have had a case of leaky eyes!

Just FOUR days ago, we put out a request of a NEED for new and slightly used backpacks for the Caring Closet. We asked, you answered!!! Thank YOU to the generous donations, our backpack supply has been replenished in record time!

Congratulations to the twelve Central Community FFA members that exhibited at the 2024 Iowa State Fair! Here's a recap from the week with some pictures of the FFA members exhibiting! Many blue ribbons were awarded with a few purples, reds, and white ribbons!

NICC's Fall 2024 High School Driver's Education
There will be courses held for Driver's Ed at Central CSD this fall.
*** Scheduled on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from September 9 - October 2. Classes will be held from 6:00 - 8:30 pm.
