Tonight’s win gives Central Girls’ Basketball Coach, Mark Wiley, his 200th career win! Congratulations, Coach!! The amount of hours Coach Wiley has devoted to Girl’s Basketball is astonishing. The sacrifices it takes to be a head coach are difficult to describe. Pictured here with Coach Wiley are four people who have also sacrificed a lot for the betterment of others - his wife Katie, and children Emersyn, Nora, and Crayten. Thank you to the entire Wiley family for their dedication and commitment to the Central Community.

The Central pep band is asking any previous members of the band to join us for alumni night on January 9th! Help us cheer on the basketball teams as they play South Winneshiek. Should weather prevent us from playing that night, our makeup date will be January 12th. Please let Mrs. Schultz know if you plan on attending by January 2nd so we can have a music folder and potentially an instrument prepared for you. Our call time that night will be 5:30pm to give an opportunity for the music to be browsed ahead of time and any questions to be asked. We look forward to you joining us!

3rd graders created weather pictures to answer the question "¿Qué tiempo hace?" in Spanish! Today they got to present their creations and share 3-4 sentences about what the weather is doing in their picture. Plus, #MonkeyInMyChair Elu is watching over the class from the head of the room! He keeps them in line!

A Warrior Reminder - Scott Obermann is coming to Central, THIS THURSDAY! This event is open to the public and we encourage our Central families to attend. Scott will be presenting his Character Construction Assembly presentation. This program brings a positive message, highlighting the six pillars of character - Trust, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Using magic and ventriloquism, combined with audience interaction, Scott will bring a better understanding to our students on why the world is in need of people with strong character, why the world needs people who can hammer out differences and drill down to the core of the problem. We invite all of our Central families, parents and grandparents to join us for what should be an exciting hour of entertainment, learning and fun!

Testimonial Tuesday - From time to time, we receive feedback from people who have recently been provided great guidance and support or experienced something worth mentioning. Promoting positive experiences is something we feel should not only be focused on, but shared with all of you. Today's testimonial was shared with Central's Business Manager, following last night's elementary music concert. If you have recently had an experience that you feel is worth noting, please email administration and share what positive impact has been made on your student and or family. We always enjoy hearing about these experiences!
