This morning, Central had four students help load and transfer 1200 lbs. of potatoes from Fennellys' Irish Pub to a staging location, before it will make its way to The Clayton County Food Shelf. Thank you Gavin, Jack, Maddux and Vaughn for lending a hand and to Linda Gardner for helping make it happen! Many hands make light work!!!

Mrs. Stevenson's pre-employment students participated in mock interviews today with the help of Elise Bergan, NICC Success Coordinator. The event brought local businesses and staff in to conduct mock interviews to help prepare students for future interviews. The students received positive and constructive feedback to help improve their skills. The event is always a great experience for all involved

Last Friday Mrs. Bergan's 6th grade class visited Osborne Nature Center for a survival field trip to conclude our unit over the book "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen. Morning time was spent deciding on survival items needed, scat identification, and following animal tracks. After lunch we spent time building survival shelters and playing Camouflage I See You game. Thank you Osborne for a great experience.
