The December Fine Arts Student of the Month is described as a super hard worker and perfectionist. This student is involved in multiple Fine Arts activities, and the work ethic they demonstrate is evident by the high achievements they have earned. The example being set by this student is a great one to follow as hard work, strong character, and getting involved in activities puts the group as a whole in a better position for success. The December Fine Arts Student of the Month is Raelynn Coanner.

The December Student-Athlete of the Month is described by coaches as a hard worker who puts themself in a position to be successful. Off season workouts and competing in other sports have helped prepare this student-athlete for success. As an example, competing in track & field helped this student work on aspects such as mental toughness required to be successful in their primary sport. Following the example of working hard, competing in other sports, and taking advantage of offseason opportunities will help others reach their potential. The December Student-Athlete of the Month is Reese Berns.

With the help of the Elkader Chamber and Mrs. Ann Gibney, the group has had the assistance of CJ Moyna’s and ThINK to provide an eye catching display at the corner of 1st Street and Bridge Street. Thank you Ryan Burke and his workers at ThINK as well as Ryan Lightfoot and the people at CJ Moyna’s.

Can you spot the cracked weld? Central welding students are studying both non-destructive and destructive ways to test welds using acid etching and dye penetrant. This ensures sound practices are developed.
Don't worry, the defected weld was supplied from an outside location. This group is doing a great job!

Preschool and JK students enjoyed building snowmen for their next-door neighbor, Lillian

On Saturday, Central had (3) 6-8th grade students attend an honor band in Marion. They played awesome and represented Central well. Congratulations on a great day of performing!
