
Holiday Traditions Open House


What started as an old coffee maker has been disassembled and recreated into a robot. A group of 3rd graders started the project in Makerspace, but pictured here is the 3rd grader who finished it at home.


4th grade kicking off Thanksgiving Week learning about poetry and doing some public speaking!

Congratulations to Mylee on representing Central at the ICDA OPUS Honor Choir tonight, held at Iowa State University in Ames, IA. She was selected to be a part of the 5/6 Opus Honor Choir with students from around the State of Iowa. Congratulations on this distinguished honor!



The PBIS winners went bowling!





Ag Food Science has been learning about processing of agriculture commodities, 7th Grade Science is learning about electricity and making light, and Biology is learning about DNA!





Today Central Community FFA took 12 FFA members to Ankeny for the Ignite and Amplify Leadership Conferences! Students learned about FFA and met new friends!





A huge shout out to Central’s elementary families, we had 97% attendance at Parent Teacher Conferences!! Thank you for your support!

The 8th grade Spanish class has been busy working on creating Thumb-Print books. The students wrote these stories in Spanish and then created their books using ink and their thumbs. This week the students read their books to the 2nd grade classrooms and the kindergarten classrooms.
