Central Community,
This past week the school board met to review new recommendations from the Central Return To Learn Committee and guidance from the IDPH. Under the new guidance, if students are wearing a mask they would no longer have to be sent home on quarantine if they are exposed to a positive case. Our goal from Day #1 is to stay in school and keep our kids here. Starting on Monday, October 12 all students, staff, and visitors to Central facilities will be expected to wear a mask to help us continue with that goal. Please no longer send your child with just a gator or face shield. If you do not have a face mask at home, teachers will have extras in their classrooms to provide students.
We sincerely appreciate all the support we have received in this ever-changing environment.
