Happy Friday Central Elementary! Just a quick update on our virtual learning. In the first week we had 48% of students complete 100% of their work. In week two that slipped to 39% and week three down to 32%. Mr. Rodenberg's 4th grade class has the highest completion rate at 69%. Remember to concentrate on your math and reading standards so you are prepared for next school year. I know it can be tough not being in school but we are here to help and I know all of you can finish strong!

Central students continue to move their learning forward, with proper precautions of course. NICC has done a great job ensuring Driver’s Ed is not disrupted, yet still safe. Central students Halle and Staci are here today with Mr. Hess working on their class. Nice job, girls!

Great news! The delivery of our diplomas and caps/tassels was significantly delayed but we are happy to say the final deliveries came this week! Thank you to all who have worked to help Central finish out the year. It has not gone as expected but everything is coming together nicely.

Spring cleaning is underway! Several items did not sell in our last auction. They have been placed in front of the old bus barn on Main St. They are free to pick up. First come, first serve - you load, you haul. Make it a great day!

It’s a beautiful day to get some work done! Central associate Sue Breitsprecher, one of the members of Central’s Garden Team, is out working in the school garden this morning. She would be done by now but she had to stand here waiting for the sun to come up before she could begin. Thank you, Mrs. Breitsprecher!

Central Warriors, today Space X will be launching a rocket. It will be launched at 3:30:30 eastern time (2:30 our time.). You can watch the launch live on your computers. Go to SpaceX.com find the watch live button and click it. You should see planets and the earth with the play button in the middle. Space X starts commentary 15 minutes before launch. This is giving you a lot of information on the launch and payload plus some other things. Today they are launching 60 Starlink Satellites into orbit. Todays launch will also make the Space X Falcon 9 the most used rocket in the USA with 84 launches. The last was Atlas 5s' with 83 launches. Enjoy. Don't forget, today at 2:30 (2:15 to hear all the commentary) Mrs. Klingman
