
Mrs. Duff came to share "A Christmas Carol" with the 4th graders today! We will see her again on Thursday when we visit the Carter House Museum.

V Boys Wrestling Today!


Preschool and JK students were at it again today spreading kindness to local businesses that support our school! We are so grateful for the support the community gives to our school!







This weekend, four students represented Central at the Northeast Iowa Band Association (NEIBA) Honor Band!
Claire Orr, Lukas Friedlein, and Kaia Engelhardt performed with the middle school ensembles and Jesse Polkinghorn played in the Sousa high school band.
They joined other top musicians in northeast Iowa for a day of incredible music making.

Central Community FFA was represented by Allyson Thompson yesterday at the Iowa FFA Ignite Leadership Conference! Along with collaboration with FFA members across the state, she learned about Supervised Agriculture Experiences, Leadership, and about the four components of the FFA Motto: Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, and Living to Serve!

This incredible group of musicians and amazing people gave a beautiful performance last night at Osborne. A huge thank you to Madrigal for all their hard work and for representing the Central Vocal Department with such pride. We are so proud of you!


The preschool and JK students have started their kindness calendar activities off strong with baking yummy treats for custodians, bus drivers, police officers, and our cooks!!

High School Boys Wrestling at South Winn!



Do you have several bags of cans taking up space in your garage? Make room for your vehicle and bring your cans and plastic bottles to the donation bin across from Peace Church. This month the can deposit money will go towards Central's K-12 Basketball Program.


Central PS-4th grade was super lucky to have received free coping kits for their classrooms.
Coping kits are designed to support children in managing their emotions in a safe and meaningful way. Items that may be included are weighted mats or plushie, emotional regulation cards and books, fidget items, sensory bottles, feelings thermometer, and local resources for children's behavioral health. Items in the coping kits will vary based on grade level. Thank you County Social Services!

The 4th graders led the November elementary assembly today. They shared about setting goals and had students play a fun relay game!
