The August Fine Arts Student of the Month is described as, “not only is she an incredible creator [which is not even the focus of this award], but this student took initiative and LED the entire student tent for Art in the Park.” Organizing an event of this nature takes an incredible amount of communication, organization, coordination of set-up and tear-down, working the event itself on a busy weekend, and displaying artwork throughout the summer. This student is determined, a go-getter, and extremely responsible and reliable! The August Fine Arts Student of the Month is Alexis Thiese.
