The past few years, we have put a heavy emphasis on building stronger relationships at Central. With many new faces this year, we would like to tell you a little about some new members of our team. Mrs. Casey Millage was hired for the 2023-2024 school year as a Paraprofessional. She has quickly turned into a bright spot for many in the halls at Central. Please help us give a warm welcome to Mrs Millage!

If you are interested in purchasing a book ahead of time, we have a limited number for sale in the Central Business Office. Please stop in or call for more information.

While students may still be on Winter Break, the Central Girls Wrestling Team will be back on the mat tomorrow morning at Osage. We wish them the best! GO WARRIORS!

Upcoming Warrior Events for the Week!

On Thursday evening, Central 5-12 Chorus students performed their Winter Chorus Concert for a full house! A fun selection of holiday music, beautiful voices and a great treat to end the school week.

The 6th grade students finished their unit on Bullying and Harassment. The lesson this week was to make a poster raising awareness about bullying. The posters were evaluated on content about how to recognize one type of bullying or demonstrating safe ways to be an "Upstander". All the students did a great job on their posters and the decision was difficult!
The winners were Lucas Walz- Grand Prize winner, Cooper Burns- 1st place, Ty Berns- 2nd place, and Bentley Burgin- 3rd place.

Electric crowd tonight for Central vs NFV and the Eli Fundraiser. Thank you to both communities!

Yesterday, the December CCS Ticket Winners were able to visit the Guttenberg Gallery and Creativity Center. From the sounds of it, they all enjoyed their trip!

Chris and Jamie Reimer from Pedretti's Bakery kindly donated paper bags for a recent project in 5th grade! Students used the bags to make GIANT snowflakes! We decorated our hallway so it was full of holiday fun! To show their appreciation, the 5th graders took Pedretti's some snowflakes to hang in their window and were surprised to receive a cookie! We are so lucky to live in a caring and generous community that supports our students!

The past few years, we have put a heavy emphasis on building stronger relationships at Central. With many new faces this year, we would like to tell you a little about some new members of our team.
Mrs. Debbie Johnson was hired for the 2023-2024 school year as a Paraprofessional. She now joins her four younger children as they spend their days at Central. Please help us give a warm welcome to Mrs Johnson!

The Boys and Girls Basketball teams from Central and North Fayette Valley are teaming up to support Eli Belser as he fights neuroblastoma for a second time. Central will be hosting NFV at Central High School THIS FRIDAY NIGHT - December 22nd with JV games starting at 4:30. We will have a free will donation at the door and all funds raised will go directly to Eli's family. Please come out and support this event as we try to raise $500 to see members from the Central and NFV girls teams compete at halftime with a fun activity. Let's see our communities come together and surpass $1,000 and Coach Mark Wiley will have Eli shave his head at halftime of the Varsity Boys game that evening! HELP US PACK THE GYM and support these WARRIORS!!!

Mrs. Follon's class had their holiday party today. They also wished Eli all the best as he has doctor appointments tomorrow and Friday. Enjoy the happy faces. Believe!
