
Camp Courageous days are some of our favorite days!




5th graders had fun with a card game called Manos Nerviosas to help them learn numbers 1-13 in Spanish! The game is similar to Slap Jack, but instead of slapping just the Jacks, players slap the pile if the card number matches the number they are counting.





The Central Torch Chapter of the National Honor Society held an American Red Cross blood drive today.
We collected 55 pints!
Thank you to all who came to our blood drive and gave the gift of life.

Mrs. Breitsprecher is leading Kindergarten students in a guided drawing of a turkey. They drew and colored a turkey. They also wrote a sentence to describe their turkey.

Fourth graders earned a game day and an opportunity to decorate cookies by earning 20,000 points in MobyMax. Moby allows students to practice all types of skills across subject areas. Great work 4th graders!





Thanks to Tony Koppes and Tyler Hanson for helping out Mr. Bergan and the students by doing the heavy lifting for us and unloading our project steel.

Students in Mrs. Frieden's classroom made a Thanksgiving feast today!


Honor Squad!
Maddison and Beth are performing today at halftime of the 2A at 10:00 am and 3A games at 1:00 pm, along with 200 other cheerleaders from across the state. A lot of hard work and practice has gone into learning a new cheer and two dance routines in just two days of practice.

performance by Central's Madrigal Choir in the Mill after.

On Veterans Day during our school's Veterans Day program, the Veteran's Stitchers presented a Quilt of Valor to eight local veterans. The Quilt of Valor recipients are Ryan Bergan, Mitchell Funk, Roger Goldsmith, Alan Johnson, Ryan Klink, Michael Mullis, Edward Allen, and Michael Harbaugh.
